This appears to be a very sensitive and restrained work KwasiRa. 80310 is very 'zen like' in it's implication.
I've just viewed all of your latest works....and there seems to be a 'a constant ebb and flow' of delicacy and then periods of characters who are more 'out there' and confronting. As always, congratulations on your practice, it is intriguing.
I have in a way KwasiRa.....but I don't have internet yet so my time on DA is very occasional and limited. Yesterday a large window was put into the studio space. Instead of seeing trees and more trees, this new studio looks out onto a wide sky and a corner of ocean. All very blue and grey and expansive. It will be interesting to see how this new environment impacts on my moods and work.
That is so close to the truth KwasiRa. I often find myself just standing still mesmerized by the view. I like to think that I'm 'centering myself'. Certainly time seems to be irrelevant here ...and that must be a good thing.
Today I experienced torrential rain, gale force winds and much thunder. My hands were frozen by the end of the day......and I love it. I feel such a happy sense of being in it. Are you content with your working environment?
I love a good storm myself. When I was a kid we had a screened porch and I used to love riding out thunderstorms out there. Seemed like amplified living.
These days I work in a converted two car garage attached to the house. We're in the city, but I look out back onto a wooded hillside. In Spring and Fall I throw open the windows and listen to the birds by day and the cicadas by night. I'm content in the space, but I wish I had more room. The clay stuff is fairly compact, but stained glass takes a lot of space.
